Police advise against 'unnecessary travel'

THE PSNI is urging people not to venture out if they don't have to because of worsening weather conditions.

"Driving conditions are hazardous on many routes this evening due to snow and freezing temperatures," said a spokesperson.

"Please avoid all unnecessary travel if possible.

"If you must venture out, please reduce your speed and drive to suit the conditions."
